I've just had the first of several eye surgeries.  They said it would be major and indeed it was with cutting, scraping and stitches in my right eye. Recovery has been painful, particularly the first several days after surgery.

Good news!  My new (although tender) right eye has relatively clear vision for the first time in almost three years.
